Treinta expresiones: quince en singular y quince en plural (cinco afirmativas, cinco negativas y cinco interrogativas). 

Afirmativas (Singular):

1. There is a book on the table. - Hay un libro en la mesa.

2. There is a cat in the garden. - Hay un gato en el jardín.

3. There is a cup on the shelf. - Hay una taza en el estante.

4. There is a pen on the desk. - Hay un bolígrafo en el escritorio.

5. There is a computer in the room. - Hay una computadora en la habitación.

Negativas (Singular):

1. There isn't a book on the table. - No hay un libro en la mesa.

2. There isn't a cat in the garden. - No hay un gato en el jardín.

3. There isn't a cup on the shelf. - No hay una taza en el estante.

4. There isn't a pen on the desk. - No hay un bolígrafo en el escritorio.

5. There isn't a computer in the room. - No hay una computadora en la habitación.

Interrogativas (Singular):

1. Is there a book on the table? - ¿Hay un libro en la mesa?

    Yes, there is a book on the table - Sí, hay un libro en la mesa.

2. Is there a cat in the garden? - ¿Hay un gato en el jardín?

    No, there isn't a cat in the garden - No, no hay un gato en el jardín.

3. Is there a cup on the shelf? - ¿Hay una taza en el estante?

    Yes, there is a cup on the shelf - Sí, hay una taza en el estante.

4. Is there a pen on the desk? - ¿Hay un bolígrafo en el escritorio?

    Yes, there is a pen on the desk -  Sí, hay un bolígrafo en el escritorio. 

5. Is there a computer in the room? - ¿Hay una computadora en la habitación?

    No, there isn't a computer in the room - No, no hay una computadora en la habitación.

Afirmativas (Plural):

1. There are books on the table. - Hay libros en la mesa.

2. There are cats in the garden. - Hay gatos en el jardín.

3. There are cups on the shelf. - Hay tazas en el estante.

4. There are pens on the desk. - Hay bolígrafos en el escritorio.

5. There are computers in the room. - Hay computadoras en la habitación.

Negativas (Plural):

1. There aren't any books on the table. - No hay libros en la mesa.

2. There aren't any cats in the garden. - No hay gatos en el jardín.

3. There aren't any cups on the shelf. - No hay tazas en el estante.

4. There aren't any pens on the desk. - No hay bolígrafos en el escritorio.

5. There aren't any computers in the room. - No hay computadoras en la habitación.

Interrogativas (Plural):

1. Are there any books on the table? - ¿Hay libros en la mesa?

   No, there aren't any books on the table - No, no hay libros en la mesa.

2. Are there any cats in the garden? - ¿Hay gatos en el jardín?

   Yes, there are cats in the garden - Sí, hay gatos en el jardín.

3. Are there any cups on the shelf? - ¿Hay tazas en el estante?

   No, there aren't any cups on the shelf -  No, no hay tazas en el estante.

4. Are there any pens on the desk? - ¿Hay bolígrafos en el escritorio?

   No, there aren't any pens on the desk - No, no hay bolígrafos en el escritorio.

5. Are there any computers in the room? - ¿Hay computadoras en la habitación?

   Yes, there are computers in the room - Sí, hay computadoras en la habitación.

Tres expresiones por cada una de las siete preposiciones (in, on, under, next to, behind, between, in front of).

In (En):

There is a book in the box. - Hay un libro en la caja.

The cat is sleeping in the basket. - El gato está durmiendo en la cesta.

I left my keys in the car. - Dejé mis llaves en el coche.

On (Sobre):

The cup is on the table. - La taza está sobre la mesa.

There is a picture on the wall. - Hay una foto en la pared.

The book is on the shelf. - El libro está en el estante.

Under (Debajo de):

The shoes are under the bed. - Los zapatos están debajo de la cama.

The cat is hiding under the table. - El gato está escondido debajo de la mesa.

I found my keys under the sofa. - Encontré mis llaves debajo del sofá.

Next to (Junto a):

There is a lamp next to the bed. - Hay una lámpara junto a la cama.

The restaurant is next to the cinema. - El restaurante está junto al cine.

She sat next to me in the class. - Ella se sentó junto a mí en la clase.

Behind (Detrás de):

The car is parked behind the house. - El coche está estacionado detrás de la casa.

The cat is hiding behind the curtains. - El gato está escondido detrás de las cortinas.

I found my keys behind the sofa. - Encontré mis llaves detrás del sofá.

Between (Entre):

There is a table between the two chairs. - Hay una mesa entre las dos sillas.

The house is located between two mountains. - La casa está ubicada entre dos montañas.

She sat between her two friends. - Ella se sentó entre sus dos amigos.

In front of (Delante de):

There is a tree in front of the house. - Hay un árbol delante de la casa.

The car is parked in front of the store. - El coche está estacionado delante de la tienda.

She stood in front of the mirror. - Ella se paró delante del espejo.

On (Sobre)

The cat is on the tire - El gato está en el neumático.

Next to (Junto a)

The cat is next to the dog - El gato está al lado del perro.

Behind (Detrás de)

The man is behind de boxes - El hombre está detrás de las cajas.

Between (Entre)

The baby is between the man and the woman - El bebé esta entre el hombre y la mujer.

On the corner of  (En la esquina de)

The house is on the corner of Main Street and First Avenue - La casa está en la esquina de Main Street y First Avenue.

In front of (Delante de) 

The ball is in front of the door - La pelota está frente a la puerta.

Across from (Enfrente de)

The house is across from the store - La casa está enfrente de la tienda.

In back of (Detrás de)

The ball is in back of the box - la pelota está detrás de la caja.

Near  (Cerca)

The cat is near the water - El gato está cerca del agua.
